Chatham-Kent Economic Development Services is hosting a job fair next week.
Economic Development Officer Rosemarie Montgomery said: “Anyone thinking about changing jobs or looking for a new job, the Chatham-Kent Community Career Fair will be held at Chatham Armory on November 15th from 2pm to 6pm.”
More than 40 Chatham-Kent employers will be there looking to recruit.
“Enbridge, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Riverview Gardens, Handy Bros, Teksavvy, many manufacturers will also be on site, Vitesco,” Montgomery said. “So a lot of the big major employers are hiring and they want to talk to you.”
No advance registration is required, but Montgomery says you should be prepared if you plan to attend.
“Bring your resume and expect to be able to have conversations with the 40+ employers who will be participating in the field,” she said.
The job fair is held in partnership with Maple Industries and the Goodwill Career Centre. Goodwill will be presenting a two-part presentation titled “Successful Interviewing,” which will include learning about interview preparation, etiquette, best practices, and follow-up techniques.
