The St. Clair Township Fire responded to an incident Wednesday morning involving a tractor and hydroelectric power lines near Lasalle Line and Ladysmith Road.
Residents were told to avoid the area.
Those who live nearby have been told that there may be a temporary power outage while repairs are completed.
Hydro One staff also responded.
There was no news of any injuries.
