Woman fights off break-in suspect during attempted sexual assault



Sarnia police are looking for a male suspect who allegedly attempted to sexually assault a woman during a break-in.

A burglary at a Roger Street home was reported around 4am on Wednesday.

Police said the victim was able to defend herself and the suspect fled.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s with short hair, a goatee and tattoos on his hands. He was wearing a black jacket and black jogging pants.

“Members of the Sarnia Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit and the Forensic Examination Unit have inspected the scene and searched the area for witnesses and footage,” a media release read. “There [have] There are no similar reported incidents. “
