Victoria is looking for citizens to serve on tenancy advisory board
Members help draft two-year lease policy
The City of Victoria is looking for five members of the public to sit on its Tenant Advisory Committee.
The city said it is looking for new hires with diverse rental backgrounds or who work in rental advocacy.
Committee members serve a two-year term and provide advice and advice to Victorian Parliament. The input will help the city draft policies on protecting the affordability and quality of existing rents, increasing rental stock, improving tenant well-being, meeting the city’s strategic priorities involving tenants, studying how high-level government legislation affects tenants, and more.
