Windsor Police Honour Guard recognized



Acting Windsor Police Commissioner Jason Bel Air paid tribute to the 15 officers who vigil during the mourning following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Fifteen people formed an honor guard and stood in the hall of Windsor Town Hall next to a condolence book. Details include officers who volunteered to perform important functions on rest days.

Each received a certificate of recognition from Windsor West MP Brian Masse and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Badge.

“In honor of the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Platinum Jubilee Badge is an opportunity to recognize individuals who have been as committed to service as Her Majesty,” said Massey.

The 15 officers are:

Constable Andrew Crossett

SWAT Megan Momigny

Sergeant Phil Gratton

“These dedicated members went above and beyond the call of duty and their professionalism was on full display during this mission,” said Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens.
