The parade will be closed from 10:30 am to 12 noon

The Royal Canadian Regiment Division 91 is hosting another Remembrance Day ceremony, starting at 10:30 am this morning.

Expected to be a larger event than the past two editions, limited in size due to the pandemic, the event will also include a parade from Station Avenue to the Veterans Memorial Park Memorial, where the ceremony will take place.

Motorists are advised to be mindful of the West Bank RCMP closing streets to allow the parade to proceed.

The intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Goldstream Avenue, Veterans Memorial Parkway from Meaford Avenue to Goldstream Avenue, and Station Avenue from Langford Legion will be closed between 10:30 a.m. and noon. During the closure, all traffic will be diverted or turned around.

More to come…
