Two people were killed in a collision between two cars west of Watford.
Emergency crews were called to an SUV and car at the intersection of Highway 24 and the Townsend 7 Concession about 1:40 p.m. Thursday.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the same vehicle was seriously injured and airlifted to a hospital where they later died, the Norfolk County OPP said.
The deceased’s name has not been released.
A child and two adults in the SUV were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash and are asking any witnesses who were traveling in the area at the time or who have dashcam footage to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
