People’s Redemption Party (PRP) presidential candidate Kola Abiola said Saturday that the party has no immediate plans to form a coalition with the All Progressive Congress (APC) and other parties ahead of the 2023 election.
He said so while launching the party’s manifesto in Abuja.
Abiola Optimism that the PRP will win the presidential election in a landslide.
He said: “I don’t see anything right now. You have to be in the game before you start thinking about joining forces.
“We have a very strong grassroots network. We have been advocating at the grassroots level. We will start our national campaign soon.
“Our reach is broad. We have 711 candidates across the country in all local government areas. That’s what we need to run a successful campaign.
“We are a national party that will have a significant impact in the election.”

The PRP candidate dismissed suggestions he was relying on his late father’s estate.
“It’s very unfortunate and ignorant for people to say that. I’m a human being in my own right,” he added.
PRP national president Alhaji Falalu Bello described Abiola as an intellectual candidate.
Bello blamed the allegations that the candidate paid for party tickets.
“Our presidential candidate is healthy enough to compete with other candidates,” he said.
“We PRP, whoever has the right to run for president or governor, did not spend the kobo he gave the party to nominate any office.
“In terms of principles, there is no better party than the PRP. We have tested it and we have formed governments in Kaduna and Kano states.”
