YPP pledges to address rural infrastructural gaps in Kwara –

Kwara State Youth Progressive Party (YPP) candidate for governor Alhaji Yakubu Gobir said that after being elected governor of the state, he will pay more attention to grassroots development.

The YPP candidate continued to address party supporters and people of the Arapa community in the Asa LGA ahead of the 2023 general election, saying his government would focus on grassroots development by addressing infrastructure gaps in rural areas.

He noted that the state’s previous government had neglected rural communities by denying them basic amenities such as roads, electricity, health centers and schools.

Meanwhile, Gobir and the YPP party leadership have received 250 veterans from the Alapa community’s ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

The philanthropist also donated 2 million guilders for the construction of the Central Mosque in the Arapa community.

In Aboto Oja, the YPP Governor Candidate shared his development plans for Kwara State with people from Aboto, Onila Oja and Okesho wards.

Aboto’s Magaji praised Gobir’s efforts in improving the lives of Kwarans across the state, while he urged Gobir to help their children through empowerment programs to reduce poverty among Asa’s youth.

Gobir has also donated a total of 6 million naira to complete various community projects in Asa, including mosques, as community leaders thanked and implored him to investigate poor road networks and other poor social facilities when he entered Government 2023.
