Environment Canada has ended its winter weather travel advisory for northern and eastern Lambton County.
Large local gusts and snowstorms near Lake Huron are expected to continue into Sunday afternoon, according to the weather agency.
Forecasters say up to 10 centimeters of snow could fall.
Residents travelling east on Route 402, the winter weather travel warning remains in effect for London-Middlesex.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution as some roads and highways may be snow-covered and slippery.
