Stop Violence Against Women Perth County is hosting two events to launch a new training video on intimate partner violence.
November is Women’s Abuse Prevention Month, so StopVAW Perth County will continue to roll out their project called “Supporting Survivors: Responding to Domestic Violence in Perth County”.
“This video will include the personal stories of abuse survivors as well as local professional experts on intimate partner violence. This shows that intimate partner violence does occur at home in Perth County and that everyone can take positive steps to better support survivors , ” shared a statement from StopVAW Perth County.
The first launch event in November will be held for professionals and community leaders on November 21st from 2-4pm, and the second launch event will be held at the local community food center on November 23rd from 7-9pm. This event is open to the public.
