Racial slurs spray painted on St. Thomas park equipment



St. Thomas police are investigating incidents of vandals spray-painting racist slurs on playground equipment at a city park.

The hateful words were found on the device of Peter Laing Parkette on Forest Avenue near First Avenue early Wednesday.

Police released no other details about the terminology used.

Police said the city had made arrangements to remove the graffiti.
