Sarnia Sting has signed another member of the 2022 OHL draft class.
The club announced Wednesday that 16-year-old center Carson Hall has agreed to a standard player agreement.
This season, the Newcastle, Ontario native has scored five goals and provided two assists in 23 games for the Lindsay Muskies of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL).
During his draft year, the 185-pound forward had eight goals and 11 assists in 23 appearances for the Markham Majors U16 AAA team, plus three goals and two assists in six OHL Cup appearances assists.
Dylan Seca, General Manager of Sting, warmly welcomes Hall to the company.
“Carson is a player we’re excited to bring back in April,” Seka said. “He’s a competitive player with really good drive. He played well for the Lindsay Muskies in the OJHL and we think his development with the Muskies is going in the right direction. Hall will stay with Lindsay, But we expect him to don the Sting uniform in the coming weeks. We welcome the Carson and Hall families to the Sarnia Sting family.”
The Sting plays the Windsor Spitfire at 7:05 pm on Friday before heading east for the weekend, visiting the Barry Colts at 7:00 pm Saturday and the Oshawa Generals at 2:05 pm Sunday.
