Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike May has finally made up his mind not to support his party’s People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Abubakar Atiku in the 2023 general election.
As Wick announced on Thursday Peter ObiAs the Labor Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, he has all the “characteristics” of leading Nigeria.
Wick revealed this at the inauguration of the Nkpolu-Oroworokwo flyover in the state capital Port Harcourt, while pledging logistical support for Labor candidate Obie for the presidency.
“Every time you want to run in the state, let me know. All the logistical support, we’ll give it to you,” Vick told Obie.
“I know you as a person. You have all the standards, you have all the attributes to lead this country, you have. Nobody can deny that for you,” he said.
Wick also condemned the recent verbal attacks on Labor candidates by Anambra incumbent Governor Professor Charles Soludo.

Soludo ignited the internet on Monday after publishing a tirade slamming President Obi’s ambitions.
He continued, “For the record, you’ve done really well in your state. But some people, because of the level you’re at in Nigeria right now, they envy you in your state. They can come and say all kinds of crap. But don’t worry, things That’s it,” Vic said to Obie.
“It was your own people who killed you first, you don’t care about those. I have told people, stop criticizing people who have left. If you are a professor, the professor is good. If you are a doctor, the doctor is good.”
The flyover built by the current government was commissioned in the state capital by Peter Obi; backed by his running mate Dati Baba-Ahmad.
