Award-winning songstress Simi praised musician Asake after his impressive performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, calling him a uniquely talented artist.
According to the singer, she found Asake to be a unique artist whose music represented Nigerians.
She also praised him for putting on an impressive show on the international stage, featuring notable global music heavyweights. “Asake made me laugh so hard on The Tonight Show. His music is so unique and very representative of us.
“Hard to imitate, he’s on the international stage. I love it so much,” the tweet read.
Asake performed his hits “Yoga” and “Organize” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, March 13, and his performance was well received by fans and colleagues alike.
He appears on The Tonight Show, joining Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Ckay, Tems and Fireboy as the only Nigerian entertainers to perform on The Tonight Show.
