The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Representatives, Adebo Ogundoyin, has won the House of Representatives election for the Ibarapa East State constituency seat.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Ogundoin received 10,039 votes, Director of Elections Professor John Oladeji said in announcing the election results in Ibadan on Sunday.
APC candidate Aderounmu Adeolu received 7,111 votes, while Accord Party candidate Oladeni Tunde received 2,724 votes.

Announcing the results, Professor Oladeji said, “Ogundoyin received the highest number of votes in the Ibarapa East State constituency election and hereby declares the winner of the election”.
Ogundoin’s victory will be his third term as a member of the Oyo State House of Representatives.
