PDP wins 25 out of 26 seats in state assembly polls –

The Osun state branch of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) won 25 of the 26 state assembly seats.

The National INEC Election Commissioner made the announcement in an official results document released to journalists in Osobo on Sunday.

However, the Governor, Senator Ademola Adelek, expressed his heartfelt thanks to the people of Osun State for yet another landslide victory for the People’s Democratic Party in the just concluded state assembly elections.

Your trust in me to deliver on our election promises has been extended and strengthened. Your assessment of my performance Be loud and clear – you have endorsed our people-centred governance and our clear will to address all outstanding challenges left over from the previous administration.
