A full fuel tank that was taken from a construction site in February was still in the wind as West Coast RCMP asked for help from the public.

A 3,500-liter fuel tank filled with diesel was stolen from a construction site at 2100 Bear Mountain Parkway in Langford overnight, RCMP said in a news release on April 4.

A forklift was pulled from a nearby construction site to remove the fuel. Police haven’t identified any suspects.

Anyone with information about the theft is urged to contact West Coast RCMP at 250-474-2264.
