Windsor Police said they had identified two people who were involved in bank fraud over the last month.
Investigators said the pair visited a bank on Tecumseh Road East near Lauzon Parkway on March 17 and fraudulently withdrew funds from the victim’s account. The suspects then visited another bank on Wyandotte Street near St. Louis Avenue and attempted to withdraw an additional $6,000. When an employee became suspicious, the two fled the bank.

Police have identified the suspects as Tara Nicholls, 49, and John Cribb, 47. Both were charged with two counts of fraud over $5,000, two counts of counterfeiting, possession of identification belonging to another person and one count of conspiracy to commit a crime. a crime.
In addition, Cribb faces two counts of unlawfully possessing a counterfeit trademark and one count of defrauding less than $5,000. The allegations have not been proven in court.
Police have asked the suspect to turn himself in and believe the pair may be in the Greater Toronto Area.
