Police in London said two people were in custody following a weapons investigation in the city’s east end on Thursday.
Police officials said officers were called to a report about 2:30 p.m. on King Street, between Adelaide Street and Lyle Street, of a person carrying a weapon in a residential building on the north side of King Street.
Early police reports indicated that no one was injured, but the public has been asked to avoid the area while police continue to investigate. Streets around the area are closed to vehicles and pedestrians while the investigation continues.
Two unidentified adults were arrested around 4:45 p.m., police said.
No other details were provided. Police remain in the area as the investigation is still ongoing.
