Letter: MPs’ contributions will be missed
I would like to thank Brett Smyth for his many years of public service to the people of North Saanich as an MP.
There is no way to measure the time he gives us, his determination to do the right thing and make the right decisions, to influence us in any way he can. His presence, experience and wisdom on the council seat for over four years is a great loss to all of us. Brett is a man of great integrity and an encyclopedia of wit and humor. I will miss his “wise advice” as he put it.
People like you are rare, my friend.
