Greek Fest donates funds to Saanich Firefighters Burn Fund and Tillicum Elementary School Lunch Program

Greek Fest will donate funds to the Saanich Firefighter Burn Fund and the Tillicum Elementary School Hot Lunch Program.
“Helping those in need is in our DNA,” said Jim Koutougos, vice president of the local Greek community. “We are so lucky to live in Saanich. It’s my favorite activity of the year. What’s better than helping kids?”
The festival will also assist the Hot Lunch program by serving Greek lunches to the school’s students and staff.
“We prioritize giving back and helping those in need,” said local Greek community president Tim Petropoulos.
The 2023 Greek Festival will be held at the Greek Community Hall on August 25-27 and September 1-4.
The event includes Greek cuisine, free live entertainment and more.
