Minor injuries after vehicle hits teen



A 25-year-old Sarnia woman has been charged after a teenage cyclist was hit by a vehicle while using a pedestrian crossing.

Sarnia Police were called to the intersection of Murphy Road and Wellington Street at 3.24pm on Monday

A 14-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle while making a right turn, police said.

The cyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police cleared the scene less than an hour later. Police said the driver was charged with making an unsafe turn under the Highway Traffic Act.
