Motorists were advised to avoid a section of Norman Street on Thursday because a crane would be erected on the east side of Sarnia Hospital.

Bluewater Health said a crane will lift the equipment to the roof of the Norman building.

There will be no through traffic on Norman Street between London Road and Maria Street between 8am and 4pm during this time

Hospital services will not be interrupted, the hospital said. Staff will be on hand to assist.

Ambulances will use the London Road entrance to the hospital and staff parked at the T Lot can use the Maria Street entrance.
