Six fire departments are at the scene of a barn fire in the town of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh.
Huron County OPP arrived at the scene on the north side of Market Road around 7:00 am Thursday to find a fully engulfed barn fire.
Fire services from Goderich, Central Huron, North Huron, Brussels, Lucknow and Kincardine assisted in fighting the blaze.
The building has been destroyed and police are investigating. There were no reports of injuries and no livestock in the barn. The cause of the fire is currently unknown. The total value of the structure and its contents is still being calculated.
OPP urges motorists to avoid the area so emergency services can access the property without delay.
