Windsor police seek trio for aggravated assault



Investigators are looking for three people suspected of involvement in the Windsor attack.

Windsor Police were called to University Avenue West near Cameron Avenue after receiving reports of a group of people damaging a vehicle at around 8 p.m. on April 6. Investigations have revealed that a man was attacked at gunpoint by four people at a university residence.

Constable Bianca Jackson said the victim ran to his car parked outside the house. The suspects drove the victim out of the house and began damaging the vehicle, causing the victim to flee the area.

Police are looking for three of the suspects and have released pictures of them.

One suspect, identified by police as 47-year-old David Sirls, is wanted for assault.

The other two are described below. The first is described as having an olive complexion, approximately 5’10”, 195 pounds, and short brown hair. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, gray jeans and white running shoes. He is wanted for assault with a weapon, threats, shooting and pranks.

The second is a male wearing a red hoodie, blue T-shirt, red baseball cap, blue jeans and white running shoes. He is wanted for assault with a weapon and mischief.
