Humane society microchipping pets this weekend

If you want to protect pets when they leave your house or leave your yard, the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society has a microchipping clinic in Amherstburg.

The first outpatient clinic of the year is held at the Libro Center on Sundays from 11am to 1pm

The drive-thru campaign allows pet owners to microchip their pets without leaving their vehicles.

Dogs, cats and rabbits will be microchipped, no appointment needed, for $20.

The Humane Society only accepts cash.

Dog owners residing in Amherstburg can obtain a current year license for their dogs at the same time. Town of Amherstburg staff will be on-site to update these documents.

Those going will need to enter the Libro Center parking lot from Meloche Road and follow the signs.
