Letter: Sydney green space in short supply
Good to see Sidney rejecting White Birch Road’s high density change proposal.
I vividly remember the mayor’s promise that if elected he would make Sydney “the greenest town in Canada”. What a load of crap.
Can anyone tell me where these green spaces are? So far, all I’ve seen is wall-to-wall development, including a third absolute monster between Bevan and Oakville that sticks out like a thumb.
The attitude seems to be: “Build it and they will come.” So let’s change that to: “Stop all construction and tell them to go elsewhere.”
