The Builders Code Champion Awards are presented to those who are at the forefront of advancing culture in the province’s industrial, commercial and institutional building sectors.

The BC Construction Association also selected the City of Victoria as a Supply Management Services Award recipient for its leadership in construction services procurement. The award is a public sector procurement award.

Building Code Champions and Public Sector Procurement Awards will be presented throughout April.

Campbell Construction President Wayne Farey will soon receive the Leadership Award.

The 2023 Leadership Awards, presented on April 19, are the BC Architectural Association’s way of honoring outstanding individuals in the construction industry and the firms they represent.

A full list of award recipients can be found at www.constructionmonth.ca.

April marks the BC Architectural Association’s sixth annual Construction and Technology Industry Month.

“In an extremely challenging economic environment, the construction industry is firing on all cylinders,” said association president Chris Atchison. “Construction Month is our way of showcasing the industry and recognizing its contribution to our economy and society.”
