Environment Ontario and the Oil Spill Action Center have been notified of a fire at a landfill in Waterford over the weekend.
Firefighters from Watford and Warwick stations were called to the Twin Creeks landfill on Sunday morning.
According to the Facebook post, the fire was quickly brought under control with the assistance of Brooke Fire and Rescue.
The social media post did not specify the cause of the fire.
