A Delaware judge overseeing a voting machine company’s $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News delayed Monday’s trial by a day without explanation.
Fox’s attorneys and Dominion Voting System Delaware Superior Court Judge Eric Davis would not comment on the decision or reports that settlement talks may be underway.
Delays to lengthy trials are not uncommon and are scheduled, Davis said. He spoke briefly at a meeting with lawyers representing Fox and Dominion before ordering an adjournment.
