LETTER: Anti-dog sentiment devalues volunteer efforts

Letter: Anti-dog sentiment belittles volunteer efforts

Unfortunately, this anti-dog sentiment was channeled into the great volunteers who were trying to make things better at Douglas Mountain Park (PKOLS).

I have witnessed first-hand fundamentalist attitudes that perpetuate “conservation” for the benefit of the park. But that comes at the cost of segmenting users — both dog owners and non-dog owners. These hardliners need to take a more inclusive stance on issues that really serve the people and stop creating divisive bullshit.
