Windsor Police say a man suspected of breaking into a mosque has turned himself in.
Police say the suspects broke into a locked room at East Windsor Mosque and stole multiple hand tools.
Surveillance cameras captured pictures of the suspect. Police released the photo over the weekend and urged the public to take a look.
Windsor police tweeted Monday that a 41-year-old man has surrendered.
“He has been charged with theft under $5,000,” the tweet read. “Thank you for helping us spread the word.”
The allegation has not been proven in court.
