Small subdivision approved for Georgian Bluffs

Gray County Council has voted to approve revised plans for the new subdivision Georgian Bluffs. The small development north of Balmy Beach will include six detached homes.

Last Thursday, the city council received a request from Cuesta Planning Consultants to revise plans for the Shahabi subdivision in the Georgian Bluffs. Gray County Planning Director Scott Taylor discusses the zoning’s final report, including staff recommendations to include a block for access and drainage.

The council voted to approve the proposed plan. A staff report to the county council confirmed the sites would lead to Balmy Beach Road. The public will still be eligible for the Coastal Road Allowance. The lots will use municipal water but will require a private septic system.
