UPDATE: Power restored in southwestern Ontario after windstorm

Miller Hill March 26, 2023 at 11:49 am HydroOne crews have restored power to hundreds of customers in southwestern Ontario after strong winds swept through the region Saturday. From Windsor-Essex to London-Middlesex, many residents were without power until Sunday afternoon.According to Hydro One, there were fewer than 20 remaining outages by 3pm Blackout diagram. For customers around the Port of Glasgow who are still without power, it will be restored at 7pm.

Police issued a news release at noon Thursday seeking help in locating Mason and Legacy Wakefield to check their welfare. They were quickly located and police said they were safe. The London man was reported missing by police in the evening, hours after he was last seen. His family was concerned, which prompted a missing persons report.
